Okinawa Prefecture Disaster Prevention Mail Terms of Service

1. Okinawa Prefecture Disaster Prevention Mail (this will be referred as "this service" below.) is a service to distribute the information of every kind of disaster prevention via e-mails. This does not distribute info on every phenomenon that happens.

2. The fee to use this service is free. However, the user (the registrar) is responsible to pay the communication fee such as packet fee.

3. The registered information of the user will be managed carefully, and will not be used for other purposes except this service.

4. The distribution of the e-mail may greatly delay due to the technical difficulty or crush of communication environment or a major disaster, etc. Please understand that e-mail may be distributed late at night depending on the situation. Also, all information may not be delivered since there is a limitation on the number of characters.

5. Please understand the speediness of the contents may be lost when the e-mail is forwarded. It is prohibited to forward it to a third party other than for private purposes.

6. The distributed information is provided as accurately as possible. However, this does not guarantee the perfection, accuracy, effectiveness or urgency. Please use this service and utilize the distributed information at the users discretion.

7. Please register, change or cancel this service at the discretion of the user.

8. The e-mail address of the sent e-mail is only to be used for sending. The department of the prefecture, the city, the town or the village cannot confirm or answer even if you reply to it.

9. The prefecture will not take any responsibilities if any disadvantages or damages, etc. occur to the user or a third party by utilizing this service.We also will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by cancelation of this e-mail or delay for any reason.

10. This service may be stopped without a prior notification due to system maintenance, etc.

11. This terms of service may be added to, changed or deleted without prior notification to users.

12. If your e-mail address has been changed, please re-register. If the information registered is not used for a while or the prefecture judged it is not appropriate, then the registered information may be deleted without consent of the user.
